"Where did all the humidity go??" - A.K.A. Winter skin!

My hair is amazingly behaving these last 2 weeks or so. For which I am so thankful. All this dryness though takes a toll! I have shocked my light switch multiple times and I have also managed to majorly static shock a niece or nephew nearly daily. Little Caleb gave me the side-eye for a week. And I can tell that they are all getting leary of aunt Kelly's hugs.

The reason of this small, but important (at least to me), reversal of fortune? IT'S DRY!!

I know this happens a lot this time of year so I am reminding myself (and you) to safely have warm air and cool air humidifiers going in your home, and if possible one at work.

Legend has it that a certain A-List singer and reality show judge, has 20 humidifiers going in her bedroom every night to protect her vocal chords and to help keep her skin refreshed. Ok Ew. But other than that, 1 or 2 is a great idea!

Humidifiers, when used correctly, can not only help ease cold and flu symptoms but also lessen the need for lotions, balms and the like. It's a really simple help and you can get humidifiers for around $15 at a lot of corner drugstores. Make sure you get the right size for the room you need.

Also, you need to be drinking several bottles of water a day!
